Adult Anglophone ADHD Support Group Print

The Adult Anglophone ADHD Support Group has served the large international community of Belgium, for whom English is a common language, since 1998.

Our primary mission is mutual support and sharing of information among adults with AD/HD. In addition to mutual tips and coaching, support groups give a sense of acceptance, recognition and understanding that no other treatment option can provide.

However, like other migrant populations we are often excluded from services, or find ourselves isolated from mainstream culture, because of language resulting in lack of access to information. Consequently, we have worked to raise awareness of AD/HD, its effects, diagnosis and treatment within the community.

We believe that people with AD/HD are the best advocates for AD/HD, and so we have worked with regional, national and international organizations on a number of issues.
