The non-profit association was founded in 2019 based on the request of parents and helpers. Since 2023, it has been non-profit and since 2008 it has been full member of ADHD Europe and the organizer of professional conferences in Budapest.
The primary goal of the Association is to inform the public and create social awareness, which can significantly contribute to the creation of equal opportunities for children with learning, behavior and integration problems.
Families raising children with problems are very marginalized, pushed out of public education and friendships, and families fall apart.
A single parent can’t get a job, which makes life incredibly hard for them.
Our association helps the children during school time in resolving conflicts, in finding a school, in teacher trainings (so that we can give them tools to raise problematic children), and in organizing their summer activities.
We recruit volunteers from teachers and psychology students so that they can get to know the children and the problem.
We want to pass on the techniques and knowledge gathered over the years to future teachers.
Our members include Theologians, Actors, Neurologists, child and adult psychiatrists, psychologists, developmental pedagogues, teachers, family- and physical therapists who work with ADHD and autistic children, families, and for children.
We also carry out examinations, counseling, attention development and other therapies.
ADHD is often associated with serious integration problems, however, negative discrimination in the workplace is strictly prohibited both in the case of ADHD and other social or physical disabilities – according to Art. LXII of 2013. provided by law. According to the law, it is forbidden to stigmatize in the workplace, to inhibit someone with disabilities or illnesses from accessing work, social and other benefits.
The condition of problematic children and young people can be improved in a positive direction with appropriate pedagogical methods, development, and therapies!
It is public interest to prevent them from becoming psychiatric patients in adulthood, which makes it impossible for them to lead their lives, their environment, and all their relationship.
