About the Association : ADHD Romania – Support for Neurodiversity is a non-profit organization based in Brașov, founded with the mission to raise awareness about ADHD, promote early diagnosis, and provide support for children, adolescents, and adults with neurodevelopmental differences.
Our goal is to create a supportive network for families, educators, and professionals, offering access to accurate information, evidence-based interventions, and community programs that encourage inclusion and understanding of neurodiversity in Romania.
Official Launch Event : On November 6th, 2025, we officially launched the ADHD Romania Association – Support for Neurodiversity! 💙
The event also marked the presentation of three key initiatives:
📘 The Early Detection Guide for Addictions
📗 The ADHD Guide
🌱 The Socio-Emotional Development Program “Connect and Grow”
These projects were developed together with psychologist Camelia Băncilă and Dr. Nistor Becia, whose professionalism, involvement, and dedication made this initiative possible.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Prefecture of Brașov and Mr. Prefect Mihai Cătălin Văsii for their openness and support in organizing the event.
We were also honored to have ADHD Europe Vice President Hrannar Annarson join us online and warmly welcome us under the umbrella of ADHD Europe – a moment that deeply inspired us and reinforced our commitment to advancing the mission of neurodiversity support at an international level. 🌍💫
The event brought together psychologists, medical professionals, teachers, and representatives of public institutions working in mental health – all united by a common goal:
➡️ introducing early screening for children and adolescents,
➡️ ensuring timely ADHD diagnosis,
➡️ and preventing the development of addictive behaviors.
We strongly believe that early intervention can change the trajectory of a child’s mental health and improve family well-being.
This launch marks the beginning of valuable collaborations aimed at building a more inclusive, supportive, and informed society for all.
